ow much is a Beautycon ticket? Tickets are $25.00 to $50.00 with group packages available as well. This is not a bad deal considering all the free products you’ll be taking home with you. The price to attend is very fair which, is probably the main factor for the massive crowds.

Unquestionably, everyone knows by now that the beauty industry is massive, its value has blown up to be a $532 billion industry. The future of this industry comes down to trends set by social media and its wildly popular beauty Influencers.

According to Edited, the beauty industry is a far different place; then it was just ten years ago.

It’s all about Social Influencers

At Beautycon, vendors take great pride in creating their booths to attract, brand, and interact with present and future customers. Most every brand made space in their area where you could take cute selfies by yourself or with friends, all very fun.

In addition, many of the brand owners are celebrity beauty brand influencers themselves. It was not uncommon to see them there in their booth space interacting and posing for selfies with the fans of their products.

Most notable Latina owned brands were Julissa Prado with Rizos Curls, San Dolls by Sand, Beauty Creations by Esmeralda Bebellaceo, and Hija de tu Madre by Patty Delgado.

Each one of these Latinas has their own unique story on where they came from, how they started a beauty-focused business, and how they are planning their future business goals. These talented Latinas are well worth the time to read about and be inspired by their stories.

All-Natural & Stainability

T

he overwhelming trend in beauty is providing its customers with alternative products that are sustainably made of only natural ingredients.   Beautycon has a plethora of new companies who are activating new brands that think NATURAL FIRST like Root of it All, Amazing Grass, Aveda, and Four Sigmatic to name a few.

Furthermore, celebrity hairdresser Chaz Dean has a new all-natural product line of parfums called Faith, Hope & Love that are amazing and made of all-natural ingredients.

Chaz and Latina Model Magazine have worked together in association with well known L.A. Latino fashion designer Adolfo Sanchez during L.A. Fashion Week.

Industry Experts & Discussions

If you want to get to the heart of the Beauty industry, there are panel discussions throughout the day on the convention center floor. These are very informative for anyone thinking about getting into the industry or those who want to stay informed of new trends.

Tyra Banks checks out the new beauty products.

As we walked through the exhibition floor, we were lucky enough to run into Tyra Banks. She visited some of the booths with two of her friends and a handful of bodyguards.

We did not get to interview her, but we did walk away with a few paparazzi pics and a few seconds of video footage

When you can attract megastars like Tyra Banks to a beauty event, you know the event is undoubtedly doing something right. Not to mention, if it were not for talented people like Tyra Banks events like these probably would not exist.

The Future

Beautycon is now producing events in three major cities Hong Kong, New York, and Los Angeles and is looking to expand to Dubai in 2020 which officially opens the door to unlimited possibilities says Moj Mahdara founder of Beautycon

Our first adventure at Los Angeles Beautycon 2019 was an eye-opening experience. Furthermore, to witness the mere size of a Beautycon and all it has to offer was amazing. The beauty industry is headed in an amazing direction and will continue to grow.
